Harmonious Encounter
2021
Harmonious Encounter was the second of three transmorgrphs for Peculiar Morymrid’s publication The Reinvention of Travel. Suddenly, I reached my next stop, the universe opened, and I emerged through Harmonious Encounter onto the pier in Scheveningen in The Netherlands. I felt the joy of experiencing another culture while watching children joyously play the surf as I listened to Dutch being spoken around me. Maybe we can have Indonesian food or croquettes for dinner we discussed as we walked to the tram.
